Slow Seed Spring
We often joke around here that while Mother Nature sometimes cooperates, she is very careful not to spoil us. This year, she has provided more than enough rain (too much actually) but has held back on the warmer temperatures that would be needed for robust seed growth. The result so far has been lackluster, very slow germination due to cold soil temperatures.
The GOOD news is that she can’t hold summer off forever and things are starting to warm up now. If you haven’t seen any growth in seeded areas yet, just hang in there. It will be coming soon.
